SEO Daily Brief No. 2

On "How we used Gemini to build Google I/O 2026"

Google using its own AI to produce its own conference is exactly the kind of self-referential showcase that tells you nothing about real-world SEO or search implications. The piece is promotional material dressed up as a technical case study — it shows what happens when you have unlimited compute, internal APIs, and a captive audience, not how practitioners should think about AI-assisted workflows. What matters for actual SEO work is whether Gemini or any AI tool improves outcomes on real constraints (budget, time, quality, consistency), and a first-party puff piece about internal Google production isn't evidence of either. Skip it unless you're just curious how the sausage gets made at scale.
