On "AI traffic converts 23x better than Google"

That number is almost certainly cherry-picked noise masquerading as a benchmark. Conversion rates swing wildly by industry, traffic source quality, funnel stage, and what you're actually selling — comparing AI traffic to Google search as monolithic buckets tells you almost nothing about what will work for your business. The real conversation should be whether you're capturing the right intent at the right moment, not whether one traffic source has some magical multiplier over another. If you're making decisions based on a single cross-channel comparison without understanding your own funnel, you're setting yourself up to chase phantom gains instead of fixing what actually matters in your conversion flow.
