On "Google AI Hates Long Form Content"

This is clickbait dressed as insight, and it misses what's actually happening with Google's ranking signals. Google doesn't hate long-form content—it hates long-form content that wastes your time, pads with filler, or delays the answer you came for. The algorithmic preference has always been for relevance and satisfaction, which sometimes means a 500-word answer beats a 5,000-word essay stuffed with fluff. If you're seeing your 10,000-word pieces drop in rankings, the issue isn't length—it's probably that you're not actually serving the search intent better than competitors, or you're burying the useful stuff under three thousand words of introduction. Keep the length if it earns it; cut it if it doesn't.
