On "Making global data easier to explore"

This is a smart play but it sidesteps the real problem: nobody's searching for global development data because finding it is hell, not because Google can't index it. A unified search layer over UN statistics is useful infrastructure, sure, but it doesn't change the fact that practitioners still need to know which UN agency tracks what, how those datasets contradict each other, or why a statistic from 2019 is the freshest available. The actual bottleneck isn't discoverability—it's data quality, currency, and reconciliation. This gets you closer to the table, but you're still doing the hard interpretive work yourself.
