Getting customers on the phone shouldn't require incentives — if it does, you've got a product-market fit problem masquerading as a sales problem. PostHog's willingness to bribe for conversation signals they're fishing for signal in the wrong place: instead of debugging why customers won't talk, they should be asking why talking to them doesn't feel valuable to the customer. This matters because it reveals a gap between what the company thinks customers need and what customers actually want, and no amount of bribing fills that gap.
