Google's call tracking regression in LSAs is a real problem that breaks attribution for anyone running call-heavy campaigns, and the silence from Google on this is telling. If you've set a specific call tracking number in Ads to measure performance, and the system is now ignoring that and pulling from GBP instead, you're flying blind on actual campaign ROI—especially brutal for service businesses where calls are the conversion that matters. Check your call extensions and LSA settings immediately; don't assume your tracking numbers are actually being used. This is one of those "confirm it's broken in your account" bugs where assuming it won't affect you is dangerous.

From the source: Google seems to have made a change in which phone number they use for tracking calls, even when you tell Google to use the Google Ads number, it is still using the Google Business Profiles phone number. I am told this is a confirmed change and Google still has not changed it back
