On "Google’s Indexing API Docs No Longer Explain How To Get Approval"

Google quietly making the approval process invisible is less about transparency and more about clamping down. If the docs don't say how to request higher quotas, most people won't find the form—which is probably the point. This shifts power entirely to Google's discretion and creates a two-tier system where only people with inside connections or the persistence to dig through support tickets get real access. For anyone relying on the API at scale, you're now at the mercy of undocumented channels and the whims of support, which is a worse position than before.

From the source: Google removed the Indexing API approval form and steps from its docs. Default quotas are listed, but the pages don't say how to request more.
