SEO Daily Brief No. 2

On "10,000 PRs a month is easy: How devex is evolving at PostHog"

Shipping volume this high tells you almost nothing about the product's ability to rank or survive in search—it's an engineering velocity metric masquerading as progress. PostHog's claim matters only if those PRs translate to features that actually move user acquisition or retention, and there's no signal here that they're optimizing for either. The real question for SEO practitioners isn't how fast PostHog ships; it's whether any of that velocity produces differentiation in a crowded analytics space, or if it's just noise covering up a commodity product. Speed without strategy is just expensive churn.
