SEO Daily Brief No. 2
On "AMIE, our research medical AI system, demonstrates real-time clinical video consultation capabilities in a first-of-its-kind study."
This is Google turning up the heat on enterprise AI adoption by putting a working system in front of doctors, not just throwing benchmarks at researchers. AMIE's real-time clinical consultation capability matters less for what it does right now than for the permission structure it creates—if Google can credibly demo a medical AI holding its own in a video call, every health system's procurement team suddenly has a template for what to ask their vendors for, and every vendor has a deadline. The actual clinical validation gap is massive and intentionally unaddressed here, but that's almost secondary to the shift in what "ready" means in this category. SEO and search practitioners should watch this less as a product story and more as a signal that Google's play for enterprise verticalization is accelerating, which means search behavior around clinical workflows is about to get way more structured and automated.
