On "Harvard Found The Public Has Little Objection To AI Taking Search Marketers’ Jobs"

The public doesn't think your job matters much, which is both honest and useless as a guide for what actually happens next. A low moral objection score doesn't predict automation adoption—it predicts that when it does happen, nobody will fight for you. What matters is whether AI actually works at search marketing (still unclear) and whether companies can save money (obviously yes if it does), not whether people feel squeamish about the displacement. Practitioners should treat this less as reassurance and more as a warning that the public won't be your advocate when tools arrive that are 70% as good as humans at 10% of the cost.
